Assessment
We look at the piece, describe what we find, and outline the options. No cost, no obligation.
Scope Agreement
You confirm the work and the rate. Nothing additional is carried out without a separate conversation.
Bench Work
Service carried out to the agreed scope, using appropriate tools, lubricants, and methods for the piece.
Collection & Record
You collect the watch with a written bench record noting the work done and any relevant measurements.
Service 01
Battery & Seal Refresh
A tidy service for quartz pieces covering cell replacement, gasket inspection, and water-resistance checking on the bench. A good starting point for owners who simply want a reliable daily wearer back in rotation. Any additional wear found is noted, with no work carried out beyond what is agreed.

Service 02
Automatic Regulation & Cleaning
Cleaning and re-lubrication of a self-winding movement with timing adjustment across several positions for steadier daily accuracy. Suited to owners noticing drift in an otherwise sound watch. The bench report shows before-and-after rates so the outcome is easy to understand.

Service 03
Heritage Piece Rebuild
A deliberate, multi-stage rebuild for older and inherited watches, including hand-finishing of parts, careful case work, and sympathetic dial care where appropriate. Suited to those who want a treasured piece kept honest to its era. Timelines are longer by design, reflecting the care involved.

Workshop Standards
Shared across all three services
Secure storage while in progress
All pieces are kept in a locked area. Access is limited to workshop staff during bench hours.
Spec-grade lubricants
Lubricants are matched to movement type and age, and applied fully rather than topped up over existing oil.
No work beyond agreed scope
If additional work is found to be needed, we discuss it before proceeding. Scope changes require your approval.
Written bench record at collection
Every piece leaves with documentation of what was found and what was done.
Honest scope limits
We decline jobs we cannot do to a satisfactory standard, rather than take them on and return a worse result.
Reachable throughout the job
Questions during the service period can be directed to the workshop by phone or email. You are not left without contact.
